Jeybee’s first app is available on the iPad App Store now. It’s called Infinote and it’s an infinite canvas that allows you to create notes, todos and ideas in a very natural way. You can move, layer and scale your notes and customise them with colours, watermarks and fonts. There are no size limits on each noteboard and they will stretch as far as you want.

It’s exclusive to iPad, and is only possible because of the glorious huge touchscreen Apple have created. The app launched alongside the iPad on April 3rd. Given that we had not even touched an iPad at this point, that presented some issues of its own.

After UPS deigned to deliver our first iPad on launch day (not before an agonising 6 hour door-watching game), we got our first hands on with Infinote. It performed admirably and it was a pleasure to just play around with the interface.

We put the success of the initial version down to careful UI planning, and that’s one of the subjects we’ll be covering on this blog. Other than that, we’ll be discussing everything from code tips to marketing, from the App Store to inspiration as we launch our future products in the Jeybee family.
